ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – Authorities are asking for the public’s help finding a man who robbed a credit union in south St. Louis on Monday.
Police said the suspect walked into the American Eagle Credit Union in the 4600 block of Hampton around 9:20 a.m. and handed the teller a note demanding money.
Authorities said the suspect, who did not show a weapon, walked out of the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police said the suspect has a medium complexion with a thin build. He was wearing a dark baseball hat, sunglasses, black rubber gloves and a white collared shirt when the robbery occurred.
Anyone with information on the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS. A reward of up to $1,000 will be given for information that leads to an arrest.
