Surveillance photos show suspect in St. Louis County robbery, shooting

(KMOV) – Police hope surveillance photos can help catch a suspect who shot a man during a drug deal that went bad in north St. Louis County on the Fourth of July.

According to police, two men went to the 800 block of River Run Ct. around 11:20 a.m. to buy narcotics.

Upon their arrival, two suspects approached their vehicle on foot and demanded their money and belongings. One of the suspects then fired shots into the vehicle.

One of the victims, a 22-year-old, was struck an unknown number of times. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

The other victim was not injured.

Police said the shooter was described as a tall black male, 28 to 33 years old with a stocky build, long dreadlocks and a goatee. Information on the other suspect was not available.
