(KMOV) – Police have released surveillance photos of a suspect who robbed a bank in Maplewood on Monday.

Authorities said a man walked into the PNC Bank in the 2200 block of Big Bend around 4:25 p.m. and handed the teller a note demanding money. Police said he implied he had a weapon but never showed one.

He was then given an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene on foot.

Police said the suspect is a 5-foot-9 white man in his late 20s or early 30s. He had on a baseball cap, dress shirt, tie and appeared to be wearing a fake beard.

Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call the Maplewood Police Department at 314-646-3621.
