St. Peters (KMOV.com) –Police apprehended a St. Peters woman who was accused of using a stolen credit card.
Authorities say an elderly St. Peters woman lost her wallet on July 9th. It is not clear if the wallet was lost or stolen from the victim’s purse. Once the elderly woman noticed her wallet was missing, unauthorized purchases started showing up on her credit card account.
Investigators released images of a woman making a purchase at an area gas station. Police allege the woman in the photo used the stolen credit card at several gas stations and liquor stores in St. Peters over the past few days. They say the stolen card was last used at a Walgreens in Florissant.
The suspect is in police custody but her identity has not been released at this time.
