(KMOV.com) -- Major Case Squad detectives are looking for the gunman or gunmen who killed a 17-year-old in Bellefontaine Neighbors Monday afternoon.
Police would only confirm the victim is a male who was shot on the sidewalk in the 620 block of Science Hill Drive just before 5 p.m..
Relatives of the victim say the shots came from a car with several people inside.
This is the first homicide in Bellefontaine Neighbors in over a decade. Crime stats indicate the last homicide there was in 2000.
