(KMOV) -- A St. Louis man will be sentenced to 25 years in prison after he plead guilty to 23 criminal counts, including kidnapping and armed robbery.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that 36-year-old Dominique Petty entered the plea in April as part of an agreement with prosecutors.

Police say Petty went on a criminal rampage during a ten day period in November 2011. In one crime, Petty and another man fired a gun as a warning and declared they were police before forcing themselves inside a home. The men then blindfolded two victims, ransacked the home and took ATM cards, car keys and other items. That case alone resulted in 12 felony counts against Petty, whose criminal history included drug charges, weapons charges and child abuse.

Police apprehended Petty as he attempted to rob a man walking his dog.
