(KMOV.com) -- A South St. Louis woman was held at gunpoint while lying in her bed, and she said her grandchildren were sleeping in the next room.

Police are investigating the home invasion that happened in the Dutchtown neighborhood early Sunday morning.  No one was injured, but the victim says the three suspects got away with money and electronics.

“I honestly thought they were going to kill us all,” said the 48-year-old grandmother. “I am so grateful they just took the money, the PlayStation 4 and left. That can be replaced; my family cannot.”

Neighbors in the area say they saw a suspicious vehicle parked in an alleyway behind the victim’s house. One neighbor called police to report the vehicle, not long after, the suspects broke down the backdoor of the victim’s home.

“My granddaughter doesn’t even want to come home,” said the victim. “She doesn't want to come home, we just moved here.”

Police do not have a good description of the suspects. Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers.
