(KMOV.com) – Six people who were linked to a Belleville home that functioned as a meth lab now face charges.
Randy J. Cox, 57, Christine A. Benwell, 46, Jessica R. Burnett, 23, Leslie A. Ellerbrock,43, and Norman L. Monroe Jr., 35, were charged with a count of Participation of Methamphetamine Manufacturing. Bail has been set for at least $100,000 for each person.
Joseph Burnett, 27, was charged with Unlawful Procurement of Methamphetamine Precursor. His bail has been set at $50,000.
Last week, police were called to a home in the 3500 block of west A Street after multiple complaints of overcrowding and suspicious activity.
When police arrived, they found evidence of a meth lab including drug paraphernalia, suspected methamphetamine and other drug making-materials.
All six were arrested last week. The youngest of the group is Jessica Burnett. Police said she and her friends were running a meth lab that also had sewage problems.
The home has been listed as “uninhabitable” because of all the chemicals inside.
