6 arrested after man attacked in Delmar Loop

(KMOV.com) – Police said an unsuspecting victim was jumped by a group of men outside the restaurant where he works.

Authorities said an employee of Three Kings Pub was smoking outside the restaurant in the Delmar Loop Tuesday night when two men grabbed his phone. According to police, multiple suspects punched him as he tried to get his phone back before they fled the scene in a car.

Police told News 4 the car was later found northeast of the Loop. Police said six suspects were arrested, ages 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, and 22. Authorities said the suspects made their way to the Loop after leaving a party that was held on Delmar in St. Louis City.

The owner of Three Kings Pub declined to go on camera, but did say victim is okay.

Police said they have an extra presence on the Loop during the summer.
