Shiloh police searching for robbery suspect

SHILOH, IL. (KMOV) Shiloh Police Department are searching for a suspect in connection to two robberies on Friday.

Around 5:15 a.m., an armed robbery was reported at The Midwest Petroleum Station, located at 1551 Hartman Lane.

Officers were told a black male entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money.

The victim complied with the suspect's demands and gave an undetermined amont of money from the cash register to the suspect. The suspect then left the store on foot. No one was hurt.

The same suspect may also have been involved in a similar robbery that occurred just after 8 a.m. at the State Cleaners located at 2417 Lebanon Avenue.

The suspect is identified as a black male, in his teens or early 20s, 5'8 to 5'10, thin build, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with "Louisville" in red lettering, blue jeans and what appeared to be blue converse shoes.
