ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- A man was shot after a suspect accused him of cutting him off in traffic Saturday afternoon.

Police say the man was driving northbound on Goodfellow near McLaran around 2:40 p.m. when the suspect made the accusation and at sometime pulled out a handgun.

The 58-year-old male victim was shot in the neck and is listed as stable. The passenger in his car was not injured.

Police describe the suspect as a man between the ages of 35 and 45, has a light complexion,  with medium build and a beard. He was driving a older model blue ford pick-up with silver trim.
