Reward being offered in Chesterfield bank robbery

(KMOV) –Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who robbed a bank inside a Chesterfield Schnucks Tuesday afternoon.

Surveillance cameras captured the suspect entering the U.S. Bank located on the 1060 block of Woods Mill Plaza in Chesterfield around 3:20 p.m.

The suspect, who did not show or imply he had a weapon, reportedly handed the teller a demand note with instructions to hand over money.

According to authorities, the suspect fled the bank after taking an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a white male around 28-34 years of age, between 5’10” and 6’00” tall, and 180 pounds.  He was last seen wearing a red and black hooded jacket, red billed ball cap, Oakley sunglasses, and blue jeans.

The investigation is ongoing.

CrimeStoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the felony arrest of this suspect.
