TOWN AND COUNTRY, Missouri (KMOV) – Police in west St. Louis County are on the lookout for a woman suspected of wandering into office buildings and stealing from employees.

Police said Sheila Ann Kirkendall, 45, is wanted for stealing and burglary.

According to police, Kirkendall was arrested in March for stealing a wallet from an employee at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. Court records show she posted $1,500 bond and was freed.

Police said they believe Kirkendall may have again stolen from employees at another office building along Interstate 64 in April.

“She goes into private cubicles and work spaces, offices and break rooms. To her nothing is private. She’s looking for those purses unattended and she reaches in and steals the wallet,” said Town and County Police Capt. Gary Hoelzer.

Authorities said Kirkendall was also recently spotted at a Chesterfield Gas Station on Clayton Road using a stolen credit card. She is believed to be traveling around in a white car.

Police said Kirkendall has over 40 arrests and 17 convictions in Missouri for stealing and burglary.

Town and County police say the next time Kirkendall is arrested they intend to add charges that will keep her behind bars longer.
