Police seek man for breaking into car at Town and Country school

TOWN AND COUNTRY, Missouri (KMOV) -- A St. Louis man with a long criminal history is being sought for burglarizing a car at a west St. Louis county school.

Police said on March 23, Mark Davenport and a female suspect broke into an unlocked vehicle at Westminster Christian Academy in the 800 block of Maryville Centre Drive.

The suspect stole two Dell laptop computer and a Garmin GPS. Police said the suspects then sold the two laptops outside a Quick Trip convenience store at Gravois and Chippewa.

Authorities said the female suspect is still unidentified, but goes by "Tonya." She's described as slightly overweight with long wavy brown hair and tattoos.

Police said Davenport has a long history of burglary and stealing and is currently on parole.

Anyone with information on his wherabouts or his accomplice's identity is asked to contact Town and Country Police.
