Police: Man robs gas station in St. Louis County, flees

(KMOV.com) – Police are searching for a suspect  who robbed a gas station convenience store in Bridgeton Monday morning.

The incident happened at the Circle K near the intersection of Lindbergh and Old St. Charles Rock Rd. just before 2:40 a.m.

Police say the clerk on duty was inside the store doing paperwork when the suspect walked behind the counter and stuck something to his back and asked for money from the register.

According to police, the suspect fled on foot heading west towards Fee Fee Rd. with less than $100 in hand.

The suspect was described as a white male, 5’ 7” tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing dark clothes and a stocking cap or ski mask.
