COLLINSVILLE, Ill. (KMOV.com) – Police say they are searching for a man who they believe is responsible for two shootings in Collinsville within a few hours of each other.
Authorities say Edwin Graciano Trejo, 22, is responsible for two shootings that occurred less than a half mile apart. Police said a worker at a power recycling plant was shot at, but not hit. A worker from that plant told News 4 the bullet shattered a Bobcat the worker was riding in.
Several hours later, shots were fired at three people in a car near the intersection of Black Lane and College Avenue. Officials said nobody was injured in the second shooting.
Authorities arrested a minor in connection with the shooting, but are still searching for Trejo.
