Police search for man who escaped Missouri jail

(KMOV) -- Police are searching for an who escaped the Ray Couunty Jail Saturday night. 

The Ray County Sheriff reports Jeremy Glenn Miller, 27, escaped the prison by forcing his way through a ceiling into the attic. He then gained access to the jail garage before escaping.

Miller was being held on a probation violation. He was originally charged with felony property damage.

He's described as about 6'1" tall and weighs about 170 pounds.
