(KMOV) – St. Louis Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man believed to be responsible for robbing a Cricket Wireless store Tuesday.
Police say around 4:40 p.m. a male suspect entered the store, located at 1330 Aubert, and handed the store clerk a note demanding cash. The suspect did indicate a weapon but never displayed one.
According to the report, the store clerk complied with the suspect, handing over an unknown amount of cash.
The suspect was described to police as being a black male, between 27 to 30 years in age and approximately 5’8” in height. He is believed to be 140-150 lbs and having short hair.
At the time of the robbery, the suspect had on a black track jacket with white stripes, a red St. Louis Cardinals’ baseball hat and blue jeans. He fled the store on foot heading south.
According to investigators, this same suspect is said to be involved in previous robberies in the seventh, first and third police districts.
