(KMOV.com) -- Police are investigating after a man was shot while attempting to purchase drugs near the Central West End Tuesday night.
According to police, two 19-year-old men were attempting to purchase drugs at 10:51 p.m. in the 4100 block of Lindell when an argument started between the victims and suspects. The victims say the argument was over payment for the drugs.
During the argument, one of the suspects showed a firearm and began shooting at the victims. The victims ran from the scene.
One of the victims suffered a gunshot wound to his calf and was transported to an area hospital in stable condition. The other victim was not injured.
Police describe one suspect as a black male in his 20’s, around 6 ft. 2 in., thin with long dreadlocks, medium complexion and a goatee. The other suspect is described as a black male in his 20’s, 6 ft. with short hair, thin and a dark complexion.
No other details were immediately available.
