ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) —St. Louis police and U.S. Marshals are being credited with tracking down and arresting a man who allegedly robbed and sexually assaulted three teen girls in July.
Donrico Holmes, 32, was charged with eight counts of armed criminal action, three counts of sexual abuse, two counts of robbery, two counts of attempted robbery and one count of assault.
According to police, Holmes approached three girls - ages 12, 15 and 16 – in the 4400 block of Elmbank as they were walking home around 11:45 p.m. on July 23.
Holmes then reportedly pulled out a gun and demanded the girls’ cell phones.
According to reports, he fondled two of the girls’ breasts after forcing the teens to remove their shirts. The suspect then told the girls to completely undress while he touched them and masturbated.
He then fled the scene and is currently not in police custody. Holmes is also wanted for a robbery and assault at a convenience store located in the 2900 block of N. Newstead.
Holmes was armed with a semi automatic handgun, according to police.
Authorities said they found Holmes on Wednesday at a home in the 900 block of Canaan. He was taken into custody and charged.
