NORTH ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- St. Louis Metropolitan Police are asking the public to help identify the man in a surveillance video breaking into Liberty Auto Parts.

The suspect is described by police as a black male, in his early 40's, with a thin build, a dark complexion, salt and pepper colored hair, a beard, and a large tattoo on the right side of his neck. The man is also seen in the video with another black male that can not be identified.

Police say the the auto parts store on the 3600 block of Cass Avenue was broken into June 14, July 10, and August 6 in the early morning hours. On all 3 occasions the suspect had to scale a 13-foot fence, and stole auto parts from vehicles inside the lot. The items stolen included radiators, compressors and loose aluminum.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crimestoppers at 1-866-371-TIPS. Callers may be eligible for a cash reward up to $1000.
