Police: Woman posted fake job ad on Craigslist to steal victims' information

(KMOV) – What was supposed to be a simple job application for many turned out to be a scam by one woman.

Felicia Love, 28, of Maryland Heights is accused of posting a fake job on Craigslist and using personal information like social security numbers and addresses provided on fake job applications-- for her personal gain. Love has confessed to using that information to open credit card accounts without victims’ consent and even taking out loans using their information.

Maryland Heights Police said Love stole personal information while working for an insurance company. This recent scam with Craigslist was handled by the Florissant police.

Police departments in Hazelwood, Maryland Heights, St. Louis County, and Sunset Hills have been trying to trakc down Love for the same crime.

Florissant police arrested Love on April 24.
