ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man accused of two separate robberies at the same Family Dollar store.

Police say the suspect first robbed the store, located at 3411 S. Jefferson, around 5 p.m. on Sept. 15. He allegedly entered the dollar store, waited for the customer line to clear, then brandished a black revolver and demanded cash.

The cashier complied with his demands and handed over the cash. Police say the suspect, described as a black male between the ages of 18 and 22, then fled the scene on foot. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with "Hollister" on the left sleeve and a multi-colored baseball hat.

Police say the same suspect is believed to be responsible for a second robbery at the same Family Dollar store on Sept. 18. The suspect allegedly entered the store around 8:30 p.m., again displayed a black revolver and demanded cash. After taking cash from the register, police say the suspect again fled the scene on foot.

During the second robbery, the alleged suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black Chicago White Sox baseball cap.

Anyone with information on the robberies is asked to contact CrimeStoppers at 1-866-371-TIPS (8477). Callers who provide information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
