All three were transported to the hospital in unknown condition.

The suspects fled the area and remain at large.

Cherry’s mother, Celia Mack, told News 4 she’s trying to stay positive despite her son’s grave condition.

“I’ve been pretty strong about it, mostly because my faith in God. It’s always a scary, scary thing to just not know what’s going to happen,” said an emotional Mack, “and I just don’t know what’s going to happen.”

Police were at the scene throughout the night using evidence markers trying to piece together what led to the shooting.
