(KMOV) – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman accused of robbing a bank in O’Fallon, Ill. on Wednesday.
Authorities say the female suspect walked into the First National Bank on 350 Hartman Lane around 4 p.m. and handed the teller a note announcing the robbery.
The teller complied and the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money as she fled the scene.
Police have described the suspect as being an African American female standing at approximately five-foot-seven and weighs about 180 lbs. She was seen wearing dark sunglasses and carrying a red purse.
