FLORISSANT, Mo. – Florissant police said Wednesday they made two arrests following a bank robbery that appears to be staged.

Police said that around 1:30 Tuesday afternoon a man walked up to a teller at the First Bank, handed a note to the teller and took off with cash.

This reportedly happened at the bank inside the Dierbergs at 222 North Highway 67.

Police said while interviewing the bank teller, Brianna Kirk-Simpson, she told them the robbery was staged and her husband, Joshua Kirk, was the suspect.  Both were arrested shortly after the robbery.

Both are facing felony stealing charges.
