ST. LOUIS (KMOV) -- A popular South St. Louis pub might be on the hook for counterfeit cash.

The St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office says Ryan Hamilton bought rounds of drinks at Nick's Pub but paid with fake $20 bills -- nine of them in all.  The pub could get restitution from Hamilton if he is convicted.

Prosecutors charged Hamilton with forgery on Tuesday.  No one from Nick's Pub was available for comment.
