(KMOV) – A suspect is accused of abusing a disabled man while serving as his caretaker at a Rock Hill home in February.
Ronald Jones, 22, was charged July 16 with third-degree abuse of a vulnerable person.
According to court documents, Jones was at a home in the 9700 block of Madison Ave. on Feb. 23 when he slammed the victim onto the ground.
Police said Jones, who was paid to take care of the man, then hit him with a shoe.
Authorities arrested Jones and took into custody on a $5,000 bond.
Police said he could no longer have contact with the victim.
