WOOD RIVER, Ill. (KMOV) – Police have charged a man who allegedly stabbed his father to death during an altercation in Wood River, Illinois on Friday.
Justin Thompson, 23, was charged with first-degree murder.
Police said Thompson was arguing with his father when he stabbed him at a home in the 100 block of South 9th Street around 10 a.m.
Authorities said the victim, 67, was pronounced dead at the scene.
