(KMOV) –A Metro East hospice center owner is accused of healthcare schemes in the millions.

Seth Gillman, administrator and part-owner of Passages Hospice is accused of Medicare and Medicaid fraud estimating in the millions of dollars.

He allegedly trained nurses to look for signs that would qualify for hospice care and in many cases, the patients were not terminally ill.

Gillman was charged with healthcare fraud and obstructing a federal audit.
