ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A 31-year-old Hazelwood man has been arrested and charged for allegedly robbing a Domino's Pizza delivery driver on Friday in unincorporated north St. Louis County.

Richard Whitehead was charged Sunday with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action.

Police said a delivery driver reported he had been robbed by a man wearing a Spiderman mask around 11:20 p.m. on Friday.

The driver said the suspect approached him while he was on a delivery in the 1500 block of Marbella, just south of Spanish Lake, Missouri.

The suspect pointed a gun at the driver, took two pizzas and a small amount of money.

The victim was not injured during the robbery. According to store employees, he has since quit his job.

During the investigation, Whitehead's girlfriend told police she let him use her cell phone around the time of the pizza order. Whitehead admited to robbing the driver and gave police consent to search his apartment. Officers found pizza boxes and a gun that matched the description of the one used during the robbery.

Whitehead’s bond was set at $100,000.
