(KMOV) -- 26-year-old Thomas C. Stevens from the Federal Prison Camp at Marion, Illinois was sentenced an additional 12 months Friday, for escaping the minimum security facility on April 7, 2011. Stevens was serving a 120 month sentence for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute crack cocaine, cocaine, ecstasy, and meth.
Officials say Stevens left the prison grounds on foot April 10th, 2011. Police deputied identified themselves and ordered him to stop. Stevens was stopped by police, who discovered Stevens had two large duffel bags containing food, clothing and alcohol.
