(KMOV.com) -- A Manchester man has been sentenced to 28 years in prison for raping a 15-year-old in Kirkwood.
Robert Hunt was found guilty of a rape that took place in 2011. Hunt was 19 at the time.
The female victim was reportedly going to a friend’s house on Ballas Road when Hunt came up behind the girl on a bike, grabbed her and took her into trees behind a building where he allegedly sexually assaulted her.
According to the girl’s mother, Hunt told her daughter that he hated his life, was going to jail for a long time, and was tired of being rejected by women.
