ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – Two people are accused of breaking into and stealing belongings and a vehicle from a south St. Louis home on Christmas Day.

 

Jennifer Basta and Lucky Miner on Wednesday were each charged with second-degree burglary, stealing over $500 and stealing a motor vehicle.

According to court documents, Basta and Miner both broke into a home in the 3600 block of Loughborough on Dec. 25.

They then stole several items, including amplifiers, key boards, a projector, musical instruments, a television, flooring, computer monitors, laptop computers and clothing.

The victim the stolen items were valued at more than $500.

According to police, surveillance video showed Basta and Miner enter the house. They were arrested and taken into custody.

Both suspects later admitted to the crime. Miner also said he took the victim’s Ford F-150 pickup truck after finding the keys in the house.

Police said they later found most of the stolen items in both of the suspects’ homes.
