(KMOV) – A man faces charges after he allegedly shot four people at a gas station in midtown St. Louis late Saturday night.

Darryl Sain, 27, was charged Monday with unlawful use of a weapon.

According to police, Sain was heading back to his vehicle parked at the BP gas station in the 3100 block of Olive when he saw four people sitting on it.

Authorities said Sain asked them to move, but they refused and began fighting.

Police said the struggle continued until Sain grabbed a gun from his car and fired several shots into the group.

A 22-year-old man was struck in the calf. He was transported to the hospital by authorities in stable condition.

Three men, 24, 34 and 20, took themselves to the hospital with lower-body gunshot wounds. They were expected to fully recover.

Sain later returned to the scene and turned himself into police.

He was being held in custody on a $30,000 cash bond.
