HAZELWOOD, Mo. (KMOV) – Police have arrested a suspect they say robbed a woman gunpoint just after leaving a Hazelwood restaurant on Tuesday.

Brian Bohlen, 18, was charged with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action.

Police said Bohlen approached the victim just after she left the California Grill in the 7200 block of N. Lindbergh around 11 p.m..

The victim told police Bohlen told her to give him her wallet without saying anything or he would shoot her.

She gave him the wallet and he took off running.

Surveillance video at the scene captured Bohlen inside the restaurant just minutes before the robbery.

The video shows him walking in the restaurant and sitting down. Minutes later, he walked out and waited for the victim, who was the restaurant’s last customer.

Bohlen was later caught and taken into custody, where he remains on a $75,000 bond.
