ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – A man is in custody after he allegedly robbed the same Subway restaurant two different times, then shot a man during an attempted burglary on a separate occasion.
Deangelo Webb, 19, was charged Tuesday with two counts of first-degree armed robbery, three counts of armed criminal action and one count of first-degree assault for three separate incidents.
According to police, Webb first robbed the Subway restaurant in the 3600 block of S. Grand in south St. Louis on Nov. 18.
Police said on Dec. 8, Webb was holding a gun when he walked into the same restaurant and demanded money from the register.
He pointed the weapon at employees, according to police, then fled the store with around $100 in cash.
On Thursday, police said Webb and another suspect approached a man while he was getting out of his car around in the 3100 block of Halliday.
The 26-year-old victim told police he got back in his car and one of the suspects attempted to open the cars door. The suspect then pulled out a handgun and shot one round at the victim through the car door.
The suspects fled north on Virginia. The victim suffered a minor cut to his upper chest.
An investigation led police to Webb, who was later determined to be responsible for the two previous Subway robberies.
