ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – A man is accused of spitting on a police officer after defecating on the bathroom floor of a Washington Avenue bar on Saturday.
Ali Cross, 38, was charged with two counts of third-degree assault.
According to police, Cross was at “Hair of the Dog” in the 1200 block of Washington Avenue when he “entered the restroom and defecated on the floor.”
Police said Cross was asked to leave, but he returned and confronted the manager. He then yelled at him and threw several punches, police said.
An officer responded to the scene and tried to arrest Cross. That’s when Cross spit on him, according to police.
According to court records, Cross has two drug convictions and one assault conviction since 1997.
