(KMOV) – Police have filed charges against a man accused of robbing a south St. Louis bank late last month.

Dwayne Lesueur, 44, was charged with attempting to physically take property appropriated from a victim.

According to police, Lesueur walked into the Bank of America in the 2600 block of S. Jefferson around 4:20 p.m. on Jan. 28.

He allegedly handed a note to a teller demanding cash. But before he could get the money, he fled from the store.
