ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- A 20-year-old man is charged with trying to get police to his house faster.

While that isn’t illegal, his strategy was.

Chrishaun Hilliard told the 911 dispatcher that he was an officer in need of aid. When police arrived, he confessed he was not an officer, but just wanted a faster response time.

Hilliard is charged with impersonating a police officer.
