(KMOV) – A man is accused of breaking into and stealing from a South County business after cutting through the building’s roof on Sunday.

Buddy Ferguson, 49, was charged with second-degree burglary, first-degree property damage, stealing and resisting arrest.

Police said police were responding to a burglary call at Telegraph Laundry in the 4300 block of Telegraph Rd. when they saw Ferguson jump off the building’s roof.

Authorities said they chased after Ferguson and eventually caught him.

They later learned he had stolen an unknown amount of cash from the business.

He was arrested and taken into custody, where he remains on a $25,000 cash-only bail.
