(KMOV.com) -- A Swansea man is jailed on $1 million bond after being accused in the shooting death of a 65-year-old man during a 20-minute crime spree in East St. Louis.

Ronnie Gully, 21, was charged with seven felonies including first-degree murder, armed robbery, battery and attempted robbery.

Authorities said George Tolliver, 65, was gunned down while sitting in his truck in the 800 block of North 86th Street in East St. Louis on July 1.

Investigators say the suspect went on a 3-block rampage lasting about 20 minutes when it all ended in the shooting death of Tolliver.

Fairview Heights police Lt. Steve Evans of the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis says Tolliver was a random, innocent victim.

Online court records don’t show whether Gully has an attorney. His home telephone number is unlisted.
