TOWN AND COUNTRY (KMOV.com) - A man is charged with stealing jewelry from a nursing home in St. Louis County.
Police say 48-year-old Anthony Chatman stole two gold and diamond rings from a resident of Delmar Gardens West in Town and Country. Chatman was a laundry worker at that Delmar Gardens location.
Chatman claims he found the rungs in a washing machine, but witnesses claim he went into private rooms.
Police say they broke the case when Chatman sold the rings to a pawn shop.
