(KMOV.com) -- A man from Harrisburg, Illinois has been found guilty of possession of child pornography following a two-day trial.

On November 29th, a jury in Benton, Illinois, convicted Larry D. Robinson, 62, for possession of child pornography.  Robinson's one-count indictment alleged that on May 7th, 2010, he possessed child pornography.  Officials said the evidence at the trial showed that Robinson's computers contained 127 child pornography videos.

The evidence further showed that Robinson admitted to officers that he was responsible for the videos on the computers.

“Protecting our children from being victimized by persons like Robinson is one of my highest priorities” noted United States Attorney Wigginton.

Robinson was detained following the trial and placed in the custody of the United States
Marshal Service until his sentencing, which is scheduled for February 24, 2012. Robinson faces up to ten years’ imprisonment, up to a $250,000 fine, and up to lifetime supervised release.
