(KMOV) – A woman who works as a housecleaner is accused of stealing several valuables from two different homes in St. Louis County last year.

 

Kimberly Worthing, 49, was charged with two counts of stealing over $500, a felony.

According to court documents, Worthing was working at a home at 3 Crownhill Ln. in Glendale between June 1 and July 21, 2012 when she stole six earrings and an antique silver wine coaster. The items were worth a combined $4,300 and Worthing later admitted to selling the earrings at a Creve Coeur jewelry store.

Worthing is also accused of stealing from a home in the 200 block of Parkland Ave. between Mary 13 and July 21. According to court documents, Worthing stole, several pieces of jewelry, including a pendant and matching earrings valued at around $2,100.

Police said Worthing later turned herself into authorities and admitted to the thefts. Police said they later learned she also stole a $250 sapphire pendant, which she sold to a Creve Coeur jewelry store.
