ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KMOV) – Police say a man who was caught in an online sex sting is believed to be a retired police officer.
The St. Louis Post Dispatch is reporting Richard Hayes, 47, is accused of sending explicit photos to a St. Charles County deputy who was posing online as a 13-year-old girl.
According to the Post Dispatch, Hayes told investigators he had worked as an officer for the Pontoon Beach and St. Jacob Police Departments.
