Former Union teacher's sexual assault charge dismissed in plea agreement

(KMOV) –A former sixth grade teacher from Union, Missouri has received a suspended sentence and five years probation for an attack on a woman in June of 2011.

Under a plea agreement, Matthew Rogers has his deviate sexual assault charge dismissed and no conviction will ever show up on his record.

In October, Brad Julius, a P.E. teacher and football coach was sentence to 90 days shock time and five years probation for his part in the attack.

Prosecutors say the men were at a Union woman’s home where they sexually assaulted her after she had passed out.  According to testimony in the case the victim says she may have been drugged prior to the attack.
