(KMOV)—A fight at a government building has resulted in one man being charged with Aggravated Battery.

According to Madison County Authorities, Barry Loman, 55, of Edwardsville, Ill started a fight in the Madison County Government Administration Building.

Loman was an employee of the Assessor’s office, but earlier in the day called his boss to resign. After that call, Loman waited 45-minutes in the Administration building for a co-worker. When that co-worker got off the elevator, Loman attacked him, forcing security to break up the fight.

Loman has been charged with Aggravated Battery. His bond was set at $30,000.
