(KMOV) -- A fire truck was stolen while a Sullivan fire crew worked to douse an two-alarm blaze at an apartment complex early Thursday morning.

Authorities believe the fire was contained to one building housing several apartment units near the intersection of Dunsford and Elemont.

No injuries reported, though the fire caused considerable damage to the building

Officials say a Ford F-250 pickup truck used in fighting brush fires was stolen from the scene and was later found hours later less than a mile away.

Police say they are still looking for the person who took the truck. The keys remained missing as of Thursday afternoon.

According to police, firefighters found remnants of a meth lab in a nearby dumpster. Officials were working to determine whether it started the fire.
