East St. Louis man sentenced for stealing public funds

(KMOV) – A union worker has been sentenced to 10 months in prison for stealing public funds.

According to a news release, Kenneth Loving, of East St. Louis, stole $25,575 in funds administered by the Illinois Department of Employment Security while an employee at the Midwest Service Group, Inc.

In addition to serving 10 months in prison, Loving was sentenced to three years of supervised release and $200.00 per month in restitution payments.
